Jerome Powell, the 16th Chair of the Federal Reserve, serving in office since February 2018. He was also nominated as the Fed Chair position by President Donald Trump, and confirmed by the United States Senate. He gained a degree in politics from Princeton University in 1975 and a doctor of juries from Georgetown University Law Center in the year 1979. He then moved to investment banking in the year 1984 and has since been working for several financial institutions.
